It’s been announced last year that the fantasy manga Witch Craft Works will get an anime adaptation. Now the anime is confirmed to premiere next January.

At the same time, the staff and cast are revealed. The anime is adapted by J.C.STAFF and directed by Mizushima Tsutomu(Squid Girl, Girls und Panzer), with character designs by Hiyamizu Yukie, series script by Yokote Michiko and Yoshida Reiko. And the cast is leaded by Kobayashi yuusuke, Seto Asami, Kayano Ai and Izawa shiori.

The story follows a regular guy who sits next to and is ignored by his school's most attractive girl. Then, one day she appears dressed as a witch to save him from a collapsing building, after which she reveals she's been on an undercover mission to protect his life.
