China Blacklists Tokyo Ghoul √A, Attack on Titan, 36 More Anime/Manga

Recently, 38 Japanese anime and manga titles from distribution, online or in print, have been blacklisted by the Chinese Ministry of Culture in China.
These titles include:

“The list is the result of evaluations by investigators, reviews by the ministry and the opinions of experts. It aims to guide websites in the proper review and importation of comics and animations,” stated senior ministry official Liu Qiang.
New regulations about video websites in China have come into effect in April, which require video sites to seek approval to stream foreign media. At the time, the ministry announced that it would blacklist titles that “include scenes of violence, pornography, terrorism and crimes against public morality”, and penalize websites that hosting these contents.
It is reported that, 29 Chinese websites have been punished with fines and warnings to remove the material or else risk losing their business licenses, including Baidu Inc's iQiyi, Sohu.com Inc., Tencent, Leshi Internet Information & Technology Corp Beijing (LeTV), and Youku Tudou. Besides, 8 sites were shut down for posting improper works.
