It’s announced last month that K anime is getting a sequel in 2015. And King Records' Starchild brand confirmed on Tuesday that the sequel will be a “new season”.

What’s more, a sequel manga titled K –Countdown will start in the February issue of Kodansha's ARIA magazine on December 27. It tells the story about what happens after the K: Missing Kings movie from the perspectives of different characters.

The first season of K anime premiered in 2012, which has also inspired multiple manga adaptations and spinoffs.
